We make fine art prints and a frame that lets the art inside change. If your audience trusts what you put on a wall, there is probably something here worth talking about.
Helm + Oar began in the summer of 2022 as one person's pursuit. It grew into a gallery representing a collective of resident artists from around the world. Every piece is photographed by a real person, in a real place.
The part that tends to surprise people is the frame. The Endless Frame opens from the front, so the art inside can be swapped without taking anything off the wall. Buy the frame once, and the room is allowed to keep changing. A home is never really finished, and we think that is the good news rather than a problem to solve.
The form at the bottom takes about two minutes. The question that matters most is the one about your aesthetic, because it decides which pieces we would even suggest.
Not a filter. We look at what you actually make and whether our work belongs near it. You will hear back either way.
If there is a fit, we will suggest work that suits your space and you choose. You know your rooms better than we do.
Framed or unframed, your choice, with a note on how the frame opens so nothing is guesswork when the box arrives.
We never send a script. One post and one story, with the piece in your own space. The disclosure stays visible without anyone tapping more.
You get a link and a code. Anything bought through them earns you a share.
More pieces, first look at new releases before the list sees them, and a say in what we photograph next. That last one is not a perk we invented to sound generous. Our catalogue genuinely gets better when the people hanging it tell us what is missing.
We also work with a small number of people at a time. That is a choice about attention, not a ranking of anybody. It does mean we say no to creators we genuinely admire.
You earn a percentage of anything your link or code brings in. It is tracked automatically, so nothing depends on anyone remembering to mention you.
We have not fixed the rate yet, so we are not going to print one here. A number on a page that changes later is worse than no number at all. You will have it in writing before you are asked to post anything. After that it does not move without your agreement.
Where a piece is given rather than earned, it is a gift. There is nothing to pay back and no invoice coming.
